Custom Order FAQ

1. How do I place a custom order?
You’re able to submit custom order requests through my Google Form. It will walk you through choosing your item, size, colors, and any special details you want. Once you submit it, I’ll review your request and email/message you with a quote and payment process.
If the google form overwhelms you, you’re always welcome to email me and I’ll guide you through the same process manually.
2. What kind of items can I request?
Pretty much anything that can be crocheted! I take requests for plushies, sweaters, bags, tops, washcloths, décor pieces, accessories, and unique ideas inspired by your Pinterest boards and Etsy favorites tab! If you can imagine it in yarn, I can usually make it happen.
3. What's the typical turnaround time?
My usual turnaround is 2–4 weeks, depending on the complexity of your piece and how full my current queue is. Larger or highly detailed items may take a bit longer, and I’ll always give you an accurate estimate before you pay.
4. Do you require a deposit?
Yes — I take a 50% non-refundable deposit when your order is approved. This secures your spot in my schedule and covers materials for your project. The remaining 50% is due before I ship or deliver your finished item.
5. Can you make licensed characters?
I can make inspired designs, but nothing that’s an exact copyrighted replica. If you have a character in mind, I can help create a unique, handmade version that fits your vision while keeping everything safe and original.
6. What yarn do you use?
I work with a wide variety of yarn fibers — everything from soft acrylics to plush blanket yarn to beautiful merino wool. Each project is unique, and I always note the fiber content on my product posts so you know exactly what you’re getting!
7. Do you take rush orders?
Sometimes! It depends on my current workload and what’s happening in my life at the moment. If I’m able to fit your rush request into my schedule, there will be a 25% rush fee added to your total. This fee covers the extra hours I shift around to move your project ahead of my queue and finish it sooner than my normal turnaround time.
8. Do you ship?
Yes! I ship within the U.S. only. Shipping costs vary based on the weight and destination of your package. I always provide tracking and package items carefully to keep them safe in transit.
9. Can I make changes after you start?
No — once I begin making your piece, I can’t accommodate changes to the design. However, if I ever feel unsure about a detail or need clarification, I will reach out before continuing to make sure everything matches your vision.
10. What is your return policy?
All our items are non-returnable, but I do offer free repairs for most issues that can happen with regular use or unexpected accidents.
Examples include:
• A plushie getting a little too much love and needing a limb reattached
• A bag strap or seam loosening over time
• A sweater cuff starting to come undone after lots of wear
As long as the item isn’t completely damaged beyond repair, I’m happy to fix it for you at no charge. (You just cover shipping both ways if you’re not local.)
